Right now the only pets I have are cats. I want a small exotic pet that is easy to take care of, and doesn’t need much room. I also want an animal that could be handled easily, if I don’t get an aquatic animal. What can I get? Thanks for all answers!
A rock would be easy, but I think it takes up too much space. Lol
My mom wouldn’t let me get a snake even if I begged for it. She says that snakes “make her head crawl.”

I recommend a snake. They are easy to care for, docile, and young ones don’t need much room. The best starters are corns, milks, rats, and ball/royal pythons.
Good luck.
Hedgehog
A pet Rock.
All pets need care. They are not easy. You need to feed, water, clean, handle, take it to a vet etc.
A chinchilla. They just require a chinchilla cage, dust, food and water! If you get one hand raised they are very sweet and a joy to handle.
this is a small exotic pet that is easy and cheap to care for and does not require much room..

It depends on what kinds of animals you like and know that you will love and take the time to care for it/them because as a cat owner you probably already know that all animals need constant care and attention. Some ideas could maybe be something like a couple guinea pigs(if you don’t mind having to clean out their cage every other day.) a ferret(which would also take some time and patience to care for.) You could try getting a cute little sugar glider http://www.gotpetsonline.com/classifieds_pictures/79227-1-thumb.jpg or you could try getting a hedgehog, or a bird(again if you don’t mind having to clean out the cage.) thats all I could think of, here is the site if you want to check it out:) http://www.gotpetsonline.com/cgi-bin/Eware/view_ads.cgi
Hope I helped!!
You really need to think about what you like and then decide. If you care for the animal correctly, anything can be easy to care for. On the flip side if you are not well informed about the animal it could be costly or sad.
It sounds like you liked the snake idea- so how about a lizard? Leopard geckos are SUPER easy to care for. I have 3 and love them. They are easy to handle and not hard to maintain. They also come in LOTS of different colors.
