what do you keep in your home if you groom your own dogs? i dont want to take them to the groomer it is getting expensive i love grooming dogs.

You can absolutely groom your own dogs….I used to do my maltese at home. You don’t say what kind of dogs you are trying to groom so I can’t recommend specific tools.
However, if you don’t know these basics, you should not be grooming other peoples dogs. You also generally need a business license and some background training.
Put the dog in the bath tub in warm water and use almost any shampoo you would use on your own hair,wash her thoroughly rinse and towel dry. After awhile brush her well and that’s all a dog groomer can do besides clipping nails.

You did not say what breed of dog you have. So I don’t know what kind of a coat you have on your dog.
Do you have the little clippers like you can use on humans too or do you have the larger clipper for dog grooming? Those little clippers won’t last long on certain coats & may not even work on others.
